Born and raised in Kalispell, Leanne Marvin has spent the past 43 years serving our community with care and dedication. Ten years ago, she joined the Flathead County Health Department, but when an opportunity arose to become the office assistant for the Road and Bridge Department, she eagerly stepped into the role.
Since then, Leanne has become an integral part of the team, playing a pivotal role as the first point of contact for the public regarding our county’s roads. Though opportunities for advancement have come her way, she has chosen to remain where she’s at within Road and Bridge—a department she considers home—because of her passion for serving the people of Flathead County.
“I love working with the public,” Leanne shared. “Being able to assist the people in our community is the most rewarding aspect of my role. I get to make a difference both out there and here in the office every day.”
Leanne’s warmth, professionalism, and commitment to service have made her an invaluable asset to the county and to all who rely on her knowledge and support. Her entire working life has been dedicated to the betterment of Flathead County, and while retirement is still a few years away, she and her husband are already making plans for the future. “We’re taking shorter trips to Arizona now, scouting out possibilities for when we eventually become snowbirds,” she said.
Leanne, thank you for your years of dedication and hard work. It has been a privilege to have you with us for the past decade, and we are incredibly grateful you’ll continue to serve for a while longer before heading south to enjoy a well-earned retirement.
