WELCOME TO THE FLATHEAD COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER

Flathead County's municipal animal shelter has been operating since 1983. FCAS is an adoption facility operating as an Open and Managed admission shelter for cats and dogs of Flathead County. As a county-funded entity, FCAS operates under the guidance of the Flathead City-County Health Department. FCAS cares for not only stray and surrendered pets, but also for animals being held for legal & criminal cases. 

All pets adopted from FCAS leave with all age-appropriate vaccinations, parasite prevention, sterilization surgery and microchip identification.
