Rules and Requirements

Spacing of Events: It has been determined to be in the best interest of our customers to maintain an “Event Spacing” rule. The Fairgrounds will seek to maintain minimum scheduling of thirty (30) calendar days prior to and thirty (30) calendar days following between like or similar shows and events being produced for profit. The determination of “like or similar” rests solely with Fairgrounds Management. Preference will be given to the facility contractor who has established dates reserved and has met all contract requirements in previous agreements.

Move-In / Move-Out Days Due to increasing costs of operation and a heavy demand on our calendar, load-in and load-out days are now stipulated in the rental agreement. These are billed at 25% of the building's daily rate. Events paying the full daily rate for two days or longer will be allowed one free day for moving in or out.

  • Event day hours range from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM unless defined in writing otherwise.
  • All buildings and other items contracted for funerals/memorial services will be charged at half the rental price.
  • We do not allow off-site use or rental of Fairgrounds equipment.
  • Single entities must provide a General Liability Insurance Certificate (coverage at $1 million or more) naming Flathead County as additionally insured.  Multi-vendor events need to obtain a Special Event policy that covers all vendors and the County.
  • Daily rate includes janitorial service during public hours for events drawing 300+Any requested or required labor beyond the norm will be charged at $25 per man-hour.
