Class or Group Library Visit

During your tour or group visit to ImagineIF, we can provide:

  • Stories and book talks for preschoolers through eighth graders.
  • A tour of the building highlighting resources appropriate for preschool through twelfth grade.
  • An overview of resources in a subject area.
  • Library card registration: Please see the section on library cards below.

We appreciate at least two weeks notice of groups coming to use the library, even if you don’t need any special services. We cannot schedule your visit more than three months in advance.

CISM Team Debriefing Request

Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) is the decision and implementation of intervention tactics to best respond to the needs of the emergency situation at hand.

This form initiates the request for a meeting that is geared to assist those dealing with the physical or psychological symptoms that are generally associated with trauma exposure. It is intended for small groups and not designed for primary victims or in a one-on-one setting.

Children's Advocacy Center

The Child Advocacy Center (CAC) allows the capability for centralized services. Children receive forensic interviews and forensic medical exams at the CAC in a child-friendly environment. The CAC utilizes a Multidisciplinary Team to provide comprehensive services to victims of child abuse.

CARES Reporting Form

Cardiac Arrest Registry to Enhance Survival (CARES) was developed to help communities determine standard outcome measures for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA), allowing for local quality improvement efforts and benchmarking capability to improve care and increase survival. The program seeks to save more lives from OHCA; strengthen collaboration between 911 centers, first responders, emergency medical services (EMS) agencies, and hospitals; provide a simple, confidential process for assessing patient outcomes in compliance with HIPAA; offer technical assistance to help community leaders identify and prioritize opportunities to improve EMS performance, and generate annual national and statewide reports for benchmarking capability.

Caregiver Support

We are here to support family caregivers! We offer services such as respite through in-home care. Respite provides relief for the caregiver of an older person at home. We also offer information and assistance to caregivers; access to our resource lounge (appointments required), in which you and/or family members can view educational materials, including webinars, and meet with a trained professional for life care planning. Burn Permit

Weather permitting, October 1st is the start of open burning.  Permits are required for this action.  A free burn permit can be obtained through egomt.com.  If you have an existing burn permit for 2023, it can be activated by calling 1-866-207-2577.

Budget

The FY 2023 budget is projecting $118.5 million in revenue and a total of $115.6 million in expenditures, including a 2.5% cost of living adjustment for 551.74 full-time employees.  The county continues to strive to plan for future capital needs by saving within our capital funds, budgeting $13.4 million in capital expenditures and $7.6 million in transfers to fund future capital needs.

Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening

The Montana Cancer Screening Program pays for breast and cervical cancer screenings for people who qualify based on age, income, and insurance status. Screening services include clinical breast exams, mammograms, and Pap tests. Diagnostic testing is provided for the follow-up of abnormal screening tests. We partner with local providers, which means that you can see whoever you want, and it will be just like a regular appointment.

Our staff is available to guide you through the screening process, even if you do not qualify based on age, income, and insurance status.

Braveheart Chaplain Ministry

Besides responding to traumatic situations and providing emotional and logistical support to citizens in need, a chaplain to emergency services personnel also provides support to first responders in their daily duties. Because their vocation brings them face-to-face with crises, stress is a built-in part of a first responder’s vocation.

Book a Meeting Room

The meeting room is available to book on

  • Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 10am-6pm;
  • Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1-6pm; and
  • Saturdays from 10am-5pm.

Gatherings of up to 20 people.
