The Middle Canyon Land Use Advisor Committee held a Public Hearing on August 29, 2023. The Flathead County Planning Board held a Public Hearing on September 13, 2023. The Consideration of Adoption of Resolution of Intent No. 1009B: West Glacier Vision Plan as Addendum to the Canyon Plan/Flathead County Growth Policy was tabled by the Flathead County Commissioners on October 17, 2023.
The Middle Canyon Land Use Advisor Committee held a Public Hearing on November 26, 2024, voting 3-0 to forward a positive recommendation of approval to the Flathead County Planning Board. The Flathead County Planning Board held a Public Hearing on December 11, 2024, voting 7-0 to forward a positive recommendation of approval to the Flathead County Commissioners. The Flathead County Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing on March 4, 2025, at 10:30am. The amendment, if approved, would clarify the review process for Minor Land Use.
