About Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP):
Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) involves coordination among many different public, non-profit, and private sector groups in Flathead County. By working together, these organizations help to ensure timely response and coordination during public health emergency events such as pandemics or epidemics, foodborne illnesses and outbreaks, vector borne diseases, or natural disasters that have health implications. One of the most important things citizens can do to protect themselves and their communities in the event of an emergency event, is to be prepared ahead of time.
