Laurel Ewing.
For the past twenty (yes, 20) years, she's the first person you meet when you walk into the County Attorney's office. She deals with irate individuals, victims, lawyers, and defendants (and their moms), all with grace and overwhelming patience.
“Everyone in the office says that they couldn’t do that job,” commented County Attorney Travis Ahner. "I don't think I'd last twenty minutes let alone twenty years!"
When asked why she's stayed that long in the same position, she simply replied, "I like helping people."
