Call Buttons
These systems provide the client with a call button on a wristband or neck lanyard. When the alert button is pushed, a live person answers to confirm the button wasn’t pushed by mistake. They then call the preset responders or an ambulance.

FREE SMOKE DETECTORS
Senior citizens in Kalispell, Bigfork, Ferndale, and Smith Valley may qualify for free smoke detectors, professional installation of the devices, and fire prevention advice from local firefighters. More lives are lost every year to home fires than to all major disasters.
To qualify, applicants must be 65 years of age and older and not have a functioning smoke detector in their homes.
The program is a collaborative effort of the Red Cross, Lowe’s, and Kalispell Fire Department.
