Eagle Transit

Effective June 8th, Tri-City Commuter will resume regular service.                                                                      

At this time Eagle Transit is operating the Red, Green & Whitefish City Lines during regular scheduled hours.  The Orange Line is providing summer service hours from 9:22am to 4:25pm. As we have enter into phase 2 we are only permitted to have 10 people on the City buses at any given time. Kalispell Dial-A-Ride Paratransit services are operating regular service hours.

Columbia Falls City has been reduced to one day a week service operating on Tuesdays only.

Buffer Zone Near Bus Operator

All COVID-19 precautions will remain in place, including a six feet safety zone from our operators and intensive cleaning and disinfection of buses and equipment multiple times daily. 

Attention:  The Whitefish City bus and Tri-City Commuter stop at O'Shaughnessy Center has been moved to the new bus shelter on the northside of the Whitefish Library effective June 8th, 2020.

SERVICES:

Eagle Transit provides general public and paratransit services within Flathead County. All vehicles are ADA accessible and equipped with lifts. Most fares are $1.00 each way.

Service provided Monday through Friday from 7:00 am-6:00 pm in Kalispell. Other routes vary in terms of days and hours of operation. See the Routes and Schedules section below for details.

  • Elementary school pick-ups during school year
  • Open to the public

Paratransit Dial-A-Ride 

  • Door-to-door, appointment based, shared ride service for people with disabilities or other conditions that make it difficult to use fixed route city bus service
  • Requires Application for eligibility
  • Offered ¾ mile from city bus routes during the same hours the city buses run

  • Weekend message for Monday rides must be left by 5:00 pm on Sunday afternoon
  • Same Day service: calls received after 5:00 pm the day before or on the day of the requested ride may be accommodated at a charge of $5.00 each way
