Our recreation staff offers years of experience in youth and adult programming.  Staff referees, umpires and scorekeepers are dedicated to making your experience healthy, invigorating, and enjoyable. 

We are committed to providing safe and well managed facilities for your competitive or non-competitive sport's seasons. 

Announcing Pickleball for All Ages
Pickleball is a fun game played on a badminton court with the net lowered to 34 inches at the center.  It is played with a perforated plastic baseball (similar to a whiffle ball) and hard paddles. This game is easy for beginners to learn and can also be competitive for experienced players.

Pickleball Palloza January 18, 2014, 10am - 2pm Flathead County Fairgrounds Expo Building.  It's free!  Come by and enjoy the fun!  League play starting Tuesday, January 21st from 2 - 4 pm.   Sponsored by Flathead County Parks and Recreation, Flathead County Fairgrounds, Flathead County Agency on Aging, the City of Kalispell Parks and Recreation, and the Sportsman and Ski Haus.

Announcing Aikido for Youth & Adults
Flathead County Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce the addition of Aikido to our recreation programs.  Craig Thomas Naylor holds a Sandan (third-level black belt) in Aikido.  His teaching is known for consistent and sequential instruction given in a kind and respectful manner. 

The program will begin where there is a minimum of 6 participants in each class.  Classes will be held at the Foy's Community Center across from the Herron Park entrance .  The registration form may be downloaded by selecting the link on the left side navigation "Registration Forms", or call 758-5800 for more information .
