Home Health

It is the mission of the Flathead County Home Health Agency to realize our vision through delivery of caring and professional nursing, therapy, aide, and social in-home services to the residents of our community as demonstrated by: Service, Proactivity, Integration, Collaboration, and Commitment.

Skilled Nursing Care... the registered nurse, in coordination with your doctor:

  • Evaluates your condition
  • Provides nursing care & supervision during illness or recovery
  • Instructs patients & families in self-care
  • Provides a variety of skilled nursing procedures
Home Health Aide Care...the certified aide:
  • Provides personal care
  • Assists in therapy exercises
  • Provides meal preparation
Medical Social Services...the social worker:
  • Assists in obtaining financial aid
  • Assists patient/family in adjusting to illness
  • Assists in utilization of community resources
Speech Therapy..the therapist:
  • Assists in recovering maximum communication skills
Physical or Occupational Therapy...the therapist:
  • Strives to rehabilitate patients
  • Designs individual exercise programs to restore muscle function
  • Assists with ambulation & special equipment


High Technological Services...the most advanced care is available in your home, including:

  • IV Therapy, including Parenteral Nutrition
  • Ventilator Care
  • Perinatal monitoring

Cost

  • Medicare, Medicaid, & private health insurance may cover some or all of the services you need
  • Staff can assist you in determining your eligibility
  • Persons needing assistance may be eligible for our Community Funded Care Program
